coffee table

I captured a Craigslist coffee table. I love it to bits but it dominates my living room, dances all the time, basically won’t shut up. Yes, those are drawers, and end leaves, too, though at least it has decency not to spread those wings of midcentury insanity, least not when I’m around.

Couch arrives next Friday—a handsome, cheerful but quiet piece that should be able to contain coffee table, at least settle it down.

Coffee table, chill!

I know the coffee table should be the center of my attention, but look at that floor!

Naw, the coffee table just *wants* to be the center of attention. I’m blessed back n forth with this rad apartment. I’ve been waffling on a rug, because I don’t want to cover that gorgeous floor.

With Couch in place next week, I’ll be hosting salons, just you wait.

I love the quiet little stool watching the floor show

That stool is also rad. While I did not intentionally place it in the background, I’m glad I didn’t remove it.

    If I didn’t have a job, I swear, I’d make furniture stop-motion all day.
