the middle highway

Who knows how many times the collection had been shifted till at last stars aligned and mind and no mind met Arizona highways?

Books on Buddhism and meditation are on a shelf that is labeled Arizona Highways. Underneath this is written, Nope!

Bree has a thing she says about improv—how all improv can’t be her favorite improv. And yet! And yet! There it is before her / you / me, something new, never before, never to be again and amazing, staring us all in the face.

THIS MUST BE THE BEST EVER NOW THAT EVER WAS!

And we’re right. Over and over. Again and again.

I pass the old Arizona Highways of my collection, the 294s, now(!) Eastern Religion, this time it won’t get me, I won’t smirk and feel giddy, I have other favorite things, this will get old.

NOPE!
